Ganja Racket Busted by STF

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, Bhubaneswar with the help Cuttack District Police at village Damagadia under Badamba PS. Dist. Cuttack against illegal trade of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended three accused persons.
During search Gannja weighing 152 Kg and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from their possession. A case has been registered at Badamba Police Station for necessary legal action. This refers to Badamba Police Station Case No. 171/ 2021 U/s 20 (b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act 1985. Investigation is on.
Since 2020, STF in the special drive against narcotic drugs has seized more than 34 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 67 quintals 52 kg ( 6752 kg) of Ganja /Marijuna and arrested more than 100 drug dealers/peddlers.
