GANJA PEDDLERS ARRESTED BY STF, ODISHA

BHUBANESWAR: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police today busted an illegal trade of contraband ganja with seizure of a 479 Kgs cache of contraband Ganja in Subarnapur district.On Sunday the STF team foil the Illegal drug trades at Kashalpur,Pitamahal road Subarnapur under Subalaya PS.
Based on a reliable information, STF team conducted raid and could able to seize contraband Ganja from their possession.
Three persons were arrested during the raid. They have been identified as Manu @ Narayan Patra of Kashalpur,PS Subalaya,Sanjay Kumar meswa of Kadaligarh PS Rairakhol and Sourav KumarBarik under Hilung PS,Birmaharajpur and one outsider namely Sunil Mishra of Madhya Pradesh were apprehended.
During the drive, the STF alone has seized total 479 Kgs Ganja with cash recovery of Rs.9,77.200/- and One Bolero pick-up van, one Honda city Car and other incriminating materials seized from their possession.
The peddler has been arrested and investigation is underway.
