Gangabada inhabitants Roared at Collectorate against Andhra Hooliganism

Paralakhemundi-As per planned led by Haribandhu Karjee, ex-sarpanch of Gangabada panchayat of Rayagada block of Gajapati district with mass from Kerandi & Gangabada panchayats had a rally against Andhra government vandalism at Odisha den. Their rally started from new busstand & after marching Paralakhemundi town they reached at Collectorate.They placed chartered demand to give them freedom to stay holistically in Odisha instead of grilled by Andhra government. Haribandhu has a false case by border state which tarnishing his image. Despite all pressure from Andhra government they want to stay at Odisha & avail all scopes of benefits for poor tribals.
Among those legitimate demands they mentioned, eg, to sort out border issue with mutual discussion, security for inhabitants of Gangabada, facilities scope for education, health & regular communication within Odisha area;enforcement of PESA-1996 Act to avail freedom on their livelihoods resources. They lamented that so far MP Brahmapur Chandrasekhar Sahu yet not visited their place, nor any appealing step taken on core issues so far. Every minute they are on dreaded fear by police personnels of Andhra Pradesh who round the clock at vigil at Gangabada.
On this huge rally along with Haribandhu, Purna Mahapatra, AAP leaders eg, Sisir Kumar Bhanjasamant and others joined.
Collector Gajapati assured to start road construction work from tomorrow, regular posting of health staff at Gangabada & other supports to be taken as assured by Collector Lingaraj Panda.On press meet Purna Mahapatra lamented that since independence of Odisha last 85 years, from undivided Ganjam district,Gajapati declared as district since last 29 years;neither state nor district administration taken seriously on Koinpur to Gangabada regular road communication. That visualizing utter negligence of both administrations.
He also visited Manikapatna with Binod Jena as representatives of Utkal Sammelani & discussed with those villagers.Things will more boil if their demand not convinced by administration retorted Haribandhu Karjee.
