Gandhi Jayanti Observed by Gajapati District Administration

Paralakhemundi- By Gajapati district administration Mahatma Gandhi’s 155th birthday observed. On early morning at 4.30am campaign on Ramdhun by mike moved through out town.Later on a rally by various students of different schools started & reached at Gandhi junction.ZP President GTRao,Collector Smrutiranjan Pradhan, Chairperson Nirmala Sethy, Sub Collector Alok Kumar Pradhan paid floral tribute at the Statue of Mahatma Gandhi.At 8.30am a meeting held at MRBHSchool.Collector graced as chief guest.
Among others ZP President GTRao, Chairperson of Paralakhemundi Municipal Council Chairperson Nirmala Sethi, as chief speaker Binod Chandra Jena graced on dias & presided by headmistress Monalisha Das.Speakers expressed long freedom movement which earned by peace & non-violence. So need of peace can transform a new India. Moreso cleanliness from villages to cities can enrich good environment.Oath shared by Collector to keep cleanliness among students.On all religions gathering to bring sanctity for Gita a discourse quipped by Gopal Krushna Pandit, Bible by Father Ajit Kumar Nayak & for Quraan by Bilal Mustafa. Various Competitions held on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti among students, where winners got prizes by the guests.DIPRO Pradipta Kumar Gurmayi conveyed vote of thanks. All teachers & Surendra Patra incharge of sports of DEO office coordinated the program
