GAMBLING DEN BUSTED IN BERHAMPUR POLICE DISTRICT

BERHAMPUR:Golanthara police busted a major professional gambling den area of Sorala junction of Berhampur,Ganjam on Wednesday.
According to JK Mohapatra,SDPO,Sadar, acting on a tip off, a team of Golontha Police conducted a raid in Sorolo Junction area and busted the gambling den. Our Cops arrested 8 persons from the spot and seized Rs over 1,80,000/- and 5 Motor Cycle mobile phones from their possessions.
The accused will be forwarded to the court said Babuli Nayak IIC Golonthara adding that an investigation is also underway to find out the involvement of others in the incident.
After raids at Golonthra another illegal gambling den also foil by Jarada PS as per the sources.The Police team arrested many at multiple locations.
