Gajapati Ustav Inaugurated
Paralakhemundi,(19/01/2026):At Gajapati stadium 5-day Gajapati Ustav inaugurated. At the outset traditional Mashal brought from Sri Jagannath temple. That reached at stadium. Later on a meeting Collector Gajapati cum Chairman of District Culture Council presided;where MLA Paralakhemundi Rupesh Kumar Panigrahi graced as Chief guest.
.Among guests of honour MLA Mohana Dasarathi Gomango,Zilla Parishad President Gavra Tirupati Rao, SP Jatindra Kumar Panda,Chairperson of Paralakhemundi Municipal Council Nirmala Sethi graced on dias.
Speakers highlighted on deemed contributions of late Parala Maharaja Sri Krushna Chandra Gajapati on formation of new Odisha & various development scenarios on state & district in education, health, agriculture,irrigation & communication. So they opted to enhance more developments.Particularly lack of industries sparked more migration & indeed every year 1 or 2 death cases received of those migrant labourers.So maize & cashew industries should be opened to support those marginal farmers & reduce migrations.
Moreover to expand towards University status to post century oldest SKCG (Autonomous) College they urged.On this occasion 5 youth brigades,who qualified OPSC were honored by the guests.
Later cultural fiesta enthralled audience with presence of cine star Sabyasachi Mishra & popular singer Mantu Churia.Local group & from Mayurbhanj district & Hyderabad classical & folk dance presented. Till late night crowd were entertained.
