Gajapati Towards Fullpledged Majority for BJD ZP

Paralakhemundi-After decades BJD directly entered their bastion on zilla parishad election at Gajapati district. Since last fortnight whirlwind campaign of state leaders & cine stars moved throughout district. That too signalled jumping of stalwart figures of both Congress & BJP to join in BJD folds. Personalities like Anitarani Behera zp President shifted from BJP to BJD. Similarly lion figure like GTirupati Rao decades long whirled towards BJD from Congress. He won from Kashinagar zone for zilla parishad. Similarly another stalwart SBalraju ex-Sarpanch of Katalkaitha panchayat of Gosani block could stimulate towards BJD from Congress who also won from Gosani zone. Like wise soonafter election bigul hundreds from opposition,curtains moved towards BJD. This just a miracle where Naveen Patnaik spelled his race long 2 decades only on development scenarios.Gajapati district was a sensitive where BJD had a tough challenge on last elections,either on Assembly or PRI elections.But this time it seemed one sided that tarnished Congress den like Mohana & Gumma blocks. Voters too significantly casted their votes & progressive plank too a greater manifestos.

Ahead of ULB elections of both Paralakhemundi Municipality  & Kashinagar NAC councils too an alarm call for opposition parties.

Whatever residues, vis-a-vis & untowards incident during elections, BJD left no leaves to garner thumping majority first time where out of 13 seats declared 10 coveted by BJD for zp seats. Counting still seems lead of BJD from last 14th seat of Mohana block where BJD too leading at closing stage. Results will come out at midnight.

Till now at 6pm election bulletin BJD leading more than 4000 votes against Congress in zp election. So this just a formalities to declare officially. BJP has a last lough to acquire RUdayagiri seat where Congress gained at one seat each from Gumma & Nuagada block.

Time will answer towards strategy of various parties on ULB elections.
