Gajapati Included on Mo Bus Connection

Paralakhemundi-An adventure by state government to include Gajapati district to operate ‘Mo Bus’ soon among other 6 districts. Transport Minister Tukuni Sahu said connectivity to rural areas an adventure too with CRUT(Capital Region Urban Transport) Under LAccMI,(Location-Accesable Multi Model Initiatives) taken to cover block headquarters with panchayats.First phase such program will be launched at Malkangiri, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati & Kalahandi and Koraput districts. Within 4 to 5 months such initiatives will start on first phase, later on it will cover other districts, said Tukuni Sahu, Minister of Transport. Request for Proposal (RFP) issued on first pre-bid meeting, said Principal Secretary of the department Usha Padhee. LAccMI scheme among 20 new initiatives with a cumulative outlay of 7202 crores for the FY(2023-24) budget alloted.Provision of 100 crores has been made for such initiatives,she added. This just a formal development approach for backward district like Gajapati to reach at unreach areas, said activist cum President awarded teacher Binod Chandra Jena & state awarded teacher & litterateur Bichitrananda Bebarta.
