PARALAKHEMUNDI-Ramachandra Karjee has been selected for Youth Icon Award of Gajapati district.
An inhabitant of interior tribal village Badamasing of Koinpur panchayat of Rayagada block of Gajapati district. As a youth brigade his prolific passion started after completion of higher education & deepen to help his community on their woes & weals.His humanity & passion filled to approach those sufferings even to help them for treatment at nearest CHC at Koinpur campaigning on health care.Various social security schemes he imparted with his community members to change their socio-economic standard. Besides that he is helping on filling up forms on those security schemes. His moments still galvanizing to check people from liquor addiction through which their economical standard are on drastic state.That could be successful to change the scenarios of 3 villages of Koinpur panchayat eg, Teraba,Raising and Kantagaon where SHG(self help group) too joined on her campaign. That could check family conflicts too.
On pandemic he too sensitized villagers to follow on basic norms like hadwashing,using masks & social distancing by visiting villages of the panchayat.He is now an alarm of watch to stand at needy’s doors to chase their woes & weal’s.
All such contributions lifted him to be chosen as Youth Icon & too an inspiration for youths among backward community.
