Fresh Low Pressure Area Likely To Form By July 19
Bhubaneswar: A fresh low pressure area is likely to form over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal around July 19.
As per IMD, several parts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall activities till July 21, 2024.
A yellow warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall has also been issued for six Odisha districts- Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Kandhamal & Kalahandi.
The cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal & adjoining Jharkhand & Odisha extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height has become less marked, it added.
