FIVE MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY TRY TO COMMIT SUICIDE IN JHARSUGUDA, ONE MEMBER SURVIVED

JHARSUGUDA:Shocking news came when five members of a family tried to commit suicide in Jharsuguda after emotionally defeated knowing their brother died after a prolonged treatment.
This shocking incident happened in Luhundabuda of Jharsuguda. One of his brothers named Deepak Biswal who was bed ridden because of an accident in Beheramal in 2018. He was taken care of my his family members and Deepak finally breathed his last on 3rd of June and the entire family went into stress and that night all five members of the family took poison and tried to commit suicide. Next day morning, nearby neighbors finding no movement had alarmed police and then all family members were rescued and taken to hospital at Jharsuguda then to VSS, Burla. Doctors there have tried their best but out of them five members have died so far and they are Deepak Biswal (22) who died first and then Srikant (33) the eldest son and Pinky(30) the youngest sister died during treatment on Wednesday and on Thursday morning the mother of the children, Puspabati Biswal(58) breathed her last.
On Friday another members of the family, the middle daughter, Bandita (35) died in ICU. The lone survivor who is fighting for life is Lili Biswal (38) and she is in hospital at Burla. All the bodies were cremated except the body of Bandita in presence of police and the closed relatives of the family. This incident has shocked the entire Odisha and all are praying for the only survivor Lili Biswal. How trauma took life of a family is beyond thinkable.
