FIRING AT MALGODAM AREA OF ROURKELA,2 INJURED: ACCUSED ARRESTED BY COP

ROURKELA: Last evening in malgodam area tension arised between two groups and it became so intense that firing took place which injured two men. As per the report, the difference between two colonies happened because of small children and as a result all seniors’ got involved and the tension became more aggressive. From one colony Md. Parvez fired at the opponent and injured two guys, one among them was Rohit Patnayak. The victim groups retaliates and attacked the other group but before it becomes more harmful, Uditnagar police intervened and took some of the law violators to its custody. Police has also arrested the main accused who fired with a local revolver, Md.Parvez and had seized the local made gun. Both the parties have blamed each other for the violence but police intervention stopped it aggravating further. Now the Uditnagar police is investigating the matter after filing the case,said, Ashim Panda, Zonal DSP, Rourkela police.
