Fire Service Week started by CISF

Talcher,14/04/23: Fire Service Week celebrations have been started by CSF Unit NTPC Kanihan on Friday, 14.04.2023 from 14.04.2023 to 20.04.2023. The function was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Ashok Kumar Sehgal, GM (O&M)NTPC Kaniha Plant.
Other General Managers Shri RN Das, Shri Y.M. Murali Krishna were present in the function. Mr. S. Ramakrishna and other senior officers Mr. P. A. Barik, Guru Brahmachari etc. and CSIs Sunil Kumar, District K. Dheer, B. Biswal and other officers and jawans were present.
After this, Deputy Commandant Brij Mohan Singh welcomed all the visitors and explained the purpose of celebrating Fire Services Day and Week in his address. Along with this, various programs to be organized during the Fire Service Week were told.
After this, the Chief Guest and the present visitors paid tribute to the firemen who sacrificed their lives during the fire fighting by offering flowers at the martyr’s memorial pillar.
After that two minutes silence was observed for the peace of the souls of the martyrs. After this, oath was taken by the chief guest to all the people present to be aware of fire and a leaflet related to prevention and prevention of fire was released. After this, the chief guest, through his speech, inspired to be aware of the cause of fire and its prevention.
Along with this, he told that every year the incidents of fire are increasing in the country, so all the people should be alert and aware about the fire.
At the end of his speech, the chief guest praised the devotion to duty and bravery of the CISF jawans.
After that, Assistant Commandant / Agni Prem Chand Sharma thanked the chief guest and all the visitors present through his closing speech.
The stage was conducted by female constable Upma Devi. At the end of the program, the chief guest flagged off a fire brigade along with a fire tender for Prabhat Pheri.
