Family Conflict Succumbed Death of Bride (!)

Mohana:A bride lost her life at Mohana due to family confrontation. Complained by the brother of deceased woman at Mohana Police Station,a case 68/21 registered.
On 2016 from Narasinghpur of Digapahandi,Manini,daughter of Narayan Nayak married to Madhusudan, son of Kailash Nayak of Gothakeli of Mohana.
Both were happy for one year & even ensured their parenthood by a daughter on 2017.But due to born of the girl tussle in between Madhusudan and Manini started for which bride was regularly tortured. Meanwhile on 2019 Manini again conceived and given birth to a son.
But Madhusudan was suspicious on second issue and torturing his wife. Family members of Madhusudan, father Kailash,mother Ratani, eldest brother Lochan, sister-in-law Suna, younger brother Jara, sister Joska Mali.Manini was informing regularly to her brother about such atrocities by husband and in-laws.
This incident boiled between both the families. As a result on 13th March family members of Madhusudan tied her by string & throbbed a cotton bundle inside her mouth & poured K’Oil & Diesel on her and tried to flame down her. Manini cried by pain as a result neighbourers of village tried to save her and taken to MKCG Medical College, Berhampur.Later on she was referred to Sum hospital Bhubaneswar where she was declared dead.
A case registered at Bharatpur Police station of Bhubaneswar by Sum hospital authorities. Case(52/21) registered & deceased sent to Capital hospital Bhubaneswar for post mortem.
Manini’s brother Kumuda appealed at Mohana and Bharatpur Police stations to take action against Madhusudan & his family members.
