FACTORY EXPLOSION IN GANJAM; THREE INJURED

GANJAM: As many as three employees and an engineer sustained serious injuries in an explosion in a steam pipe at Grasim Industries Ltd here on Tuesday morning.

The mishap occurred when three employees were working near the pipe inside the plant in Ganjam district.

The injured were shifted to MKCG-MCH Medical College Hospital in Berhampur later one of them was shifted to Bhubaneswar after his condition worsened according to latest updates.

The incident has sparked outrage among workers at the company. The workers have staged demonstration in front of the company, the workers are facing many problems due to the company’s negligence as they alleged.
