EYE WASH OF ADMINISTRATION BY NGO-PREM & DISTRIBUTED RELIEF IN GAJAPATI (?).

BERHAMPUR:Just to confuse the district administration by a noted “NGO-PREM” in Gumma Block of Gajapati by following the activities the many reputed NGOs’ resource, PREM intervened to reach at Bhubani panchayat of Gumma block and distributed relief in all villages of the panchayat and declare the village Gudangarjang as model adopted village to campaign on Covid-19.
Besides that they sensitized on basic norms to follow & preventions from Corona pandemic.
Notably Corona-Covid19 admission during Mar-April, 2020 in Ganjam and Gajapati and today the panic situation so to say almost wipe out.
However today, the NGO wake-up after completion of five months to justify their existence (?). Many senior citizens of Gajapati are questioning till date where they are missing (?).
In the beginning the so called NGO “PREM” started its function in a private rented house with 4/5 staff members. During the period the intelligentsia team able to success by putting kind of their influence with government of India ,Odisha and today they operates their headquarters at Mandiapalli village the outskirts of Berhampur city with all facilities including Guest house,Hostels,staff accommodation ,canteen etc.. and maintain the lavish life style but not like a common man (!) as they claimed “WE ARE MEANT FOR POOR TRIBALS”(!).
According to source, a group of social activists, led by Jacob and Paruvanany, initiated development programmes in 15 villages of Mohana block in Gajapati district of Odisha in 1980. Its primary initiative was the propagation of Paulo Frerian functional literacy but today the scheme already rejected by the Ministry of HRD of NDA Govt but the other hand the Babus’ are taking the advantage and saying “We success the project within two years and the programme had been extended to two additional blocks.
By the time of its registration as a non-government organization (NGO), PREM’s operational area covered over 200 villages as they claimed.
PREM established non-formal education programmes for educating Adivasi (tribal) children and discouraged dependence on shifting cultivation through active promotion of the concepts of agro- and social-forestry and today with all segment like livelyhood, health and what not as they think we are a matching government (?).
Further reactions by the people tribal’s alleged “we are sure during the time of “Super Cyclone”,”Phailin”,”Hoodhood” and mainly “Titlili” they got corers of funds from Government of India as well from Odisha, but their single contribution towards tribal’s not a single work of their activity was not yet seen (?).
One of the social activist told, “I have already sought RTI information from the day of formation to till date of their entire activities, number of sister concern units formed with a single registration which needed a grass root enquiry”.
He sought for a transparent inquiry by the Crime Branch (CBI) and CAG audit for a keen investigation as they played with public money.
