Eye Camp at Gurandi CHC in Gajapati

Gajapati:FreePresident awarded teacher Binod Chandra Jena, Retd. Director of Adults Literacy Bhagabat Padhi, Sarpanch of Gurandi Silpa Patra,Founder of APJAKCT Purna Chandra Behera as guests of honor.Fecilitated by Mamata Padhi PHEO of Gurandi CHC, BPM N Srinivasulu & staff of CHC coordinated the program.125 persons tested their eyes;where 68 persons found cataract, 29 persons glaucoma,21 persons given spectacles & 9 done retina rest. Among those cataract patients 30 persons on first phase picked up to Sankar Eye Hospital for surgery, where on second phase rest 38 will be operated there. Among those staff of Sankar Eye Hospital Nalinikant Das Camp Manager, Anil Kumar Sahu Chief Optometrist, Payal Gauda, Minakhi Panigrahi, Parbati Swain, Aradhana Sahu, NMuna, Ipili Sakili, Susant Dakua eye technician were present & helped on test of those personsThis is a rare feat by APJAKCT & Sankar Eye Hospital in Gajapati district,said CDMO Dr. Patra.Patitapaban Barik,M.O presided over the meeting
