EXCISE RAID ON CANNABIS PROCUREMENT

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):R.Udayagiri Police is taking stringent action against those under current cannabis farming by the instruction of SP of Police Gajapati,Tapan Kumar Patnaik & Superintendent of Excise, Pradip Kumar Panigrahi.

This time R.Udayagiri Police lead by IIC,Ms.Mamata Nayak and Excise jointly raided at Bimanpur under Kirama panchayat of Nuagada block.They destroyed 102660 such cannabis plants covering in 51.330 acres.

This would have costed 10 Crs 26 lakhs approximately. Case has been registered against those goons. Those destruction done in presence of Addl. Tehsildar Nuagada,Ashis Kumar Pradhan.
