Excise Raid in Kukudakhandi, Ganjam

Berhampur: As per direction of Superintendent of Excise, Berhampur raid has been conducted inside the forest area situated at Upar Kumbhajhari under Berhampur-II Excise Station limits in the presence of Tahasildar-cum-Chairman, TLMDS,Kukudakhandi and seized 5200 litres of Gur based fermented Wash and 170 litres of I.D.Liquor and destroyed. In connection one person is arrested with seizure of 05 litres of I.D.Liquor.
The raid has been conducted in presence of Kukudakhandi,Tehesildar cum Magistrate Ms.Ipsita Mishra and the Excise officers Inspector of Excise,Sadar Range, Inspector of Excise,DSF, Berhampur,OIC of Berhampur-II Excise station,.Sub- Inspector of Excise, DSF, Berhampur, and other excise staff members were participated.
