Entry Restrictions at Puri Srimandir from Today
Puri: The Puri Jagannath Temple administration has announced temporary restrictions on the entry of regular devotees to accommodate the expected influx of Habishyalis observing Brata during the holy month of Kartika.
According to the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief, Arabinda K Padhee, the decision is aimed at ensuring smooth darshan arrangements for the large number of devotees who will be visiting the temple during this auspicious period.
Effective October 18, entry into the temple will be allowed only through the Singhadwara (Lion’s Gate) and the Western gate. Devotees can exit through any of the three gates except for the Singhadwara. Temple servitors and their families are prohibited from exiting through the Singhadwara.
The SJTA has requested all visitors to follow these rules for a smooth and organised darshan experience during the auspicious Kartika month.
