Enforcement team Physically abused by Transporter

Berhampur:Acting on a tip off Berhampur Sadar Police held two person in connection to threat of life while Tahasil Revenue Inspectors are on duty for enforcement.
According to Prabhat Routray,ASP, On Thursday at 10.00 AM Complainant Nirakar Sethi (56 yrs), of Khodasingha, under B N Pur police limit working as Revenue Inspector of Dura under Kanisi Tahasil, Ganjam appeared at PS and alleged there in that As per order of Tahasildar Kanisi, he along with RI Indrakhi, Dumdumi and Gopalpur were consisting an enforcement team and seized one illegal loaded stone tractor bearing No-OD-07-R1705 and Trolly No. OD-07 R-1706 on 29.07.2021 at 06.30 AM from Stone Quarry of Jhadankuli.
While the enforcement team brought the said tractor to Badakusastali RI Office, on the way near Gurunthi Chhak, the vehicle owner Santosh Kumar Raula and his tractor Driver Sudam Das abused in filthy language with threatened to kill in life.
Thereafter the owners of tractor forcefully grab hold of the mentioned tractor and took away from the spot. Hence he reported for legal action. On this report the above noted case has been registered and under investigation. During investigation the above noted accused persons arrested on 29.07.2021 at 09.30 PM and forwarded to the hon’ble court today. Seized the tractor bearing No-OD-07-R1705 and Trolly No. OD-07 R-1706.
The accuse persons identified as Santosh Kumar Raula (38 yrs), S/o: Late Raghunath Raula of vill Bhabinipur, Raula Sahi, PS: B. Sadar and Sudama Das (30 yrs), S/o: Nrusingha Das of vill Sikulipalli, PS: Hinjili, Both are of Dist: Ganjam.
In connection Berhampur Sadar P.S Case No-252 dt. 29.07.2021 U/S: 341/294/379/353/506/34 IPC/ r/w section- 12 Odisha Mines and Minerals Act.
