Sambalpur: Eminent social activist and sarvodaya leader Bhagwat Prasad Nanda took to his eternal journey at his residence here.
The new was broken by Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) with a tweet reading- ‘We mourn the eternal journey taken by Shri. Bhagwat Nanda. Odisha albeit India has lost a doyen of social activism. He was one of the senior most members at SNSMT’ on this noted socio-political leader and Chairman of SMSMT Shri. Suparno Satpathy tweeted ‘ This is a personal loss. Bhagwat Babu was a guide to your’s truly. He had been a close associate of both Bapa and Ma’ where he meant Shri. Devendra Satpathy and Smt. Nandini Satpathy.
CM Odisha Shri. Naveen Pnaik too condoled the demise of eminent Sarvodaya leader Bhagabat Prasad Nanda. He said his association with Bhoodan movement demonstrates his concern for the poor & landless farmers.
