Uttam Nayak,Odishabarta

Koraput:A border area of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, today, in a joint effort to protect the interests of Odisha in Kotia.  In the next four days, Andhra Pradesh is expected to form the Kotia Panchayat, including all the areas in the Parbatipuram region, and Kotia is an integral part of Odisha, and the reorganization of the district in Andhra Pradesh will not have any effect on the people of the area.  The two young leaders have vowed to oppose any attempt in Andhra Pradesh if necessary.  While Utkal Divas was highly valued at the administrative level in Kotia last year, this year when the people of Kotia needed to raise awareness among the people of Kotia against the impact of the newly formed Mannam district in Odisha, the Utkal Day celebrations were held in Kotia.  Gadadhar Parida, the host of our Kotia organization and a former district magistrate of Koraput, expressed his displeasure.  Mr. Parida opined that the state government’s indifference to the Kotia issue in organizing this Utkal Divas in this important panchayat in the presence of a panchayat officer at a function held at the panchayat office this year while district level officials were present last year.  However, due to the inability of various villages along the Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh border, such as Kotia, to improve the penitentiary mountain development council, which was formed a few days ago, the former Koraput MP Jairam Panchayat has been reluctant to do so.  The day was announced from the festival stage.
