EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES REOPENING IS DEPENDING ON SITUATION REVIEW AFTER 14TH APRIL

ROURKELA:Lockdown because of corona is observing throughout the country after Narendra Modi, PM of India had given a call which is running 12th day. All educational institutes are shut because of corona to protect the health and safety of students as well as teachers. Ongoing lockdown has pushed the education industry on suspense about date of its reopening. In an interview with PTI, the HRD minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ told, the decision of reopening will be taken after the lockdown period is over by taking all stock of the situation of corona and its probable effect.
Already different educational board and Universities have postponed various exams to be held in the month of March and April looking at Corona. He also said that this 21 days long closure will not affect academics loss of students for which his ministry will take every care. The ministry and other bodies have also taken initiative in taking online classes to finish the course in some cases. He also affirmed that all positive steps will be taken to conduct exam once lockdown is withdrawn. Few Educational boards have already withdrawn few exams looking at this pandemic and other pending exams will be rescheduled with prior information students after the lockdown is lifted. Minister has also said that his ministry is all prepared to tackle the situation and health is the optimum priority.
