EDII launches national movement for Entrepreneurship with ‘Udyamita Pakhwada

Ahmedabad ,(13/11/25):The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad – a Centre of Excellence recognised by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India  has launched a nationwide movement for entrepreneurship through its initiative Udyamita Pakhwada 2025’ (Entrepreneurship Fortnight 2025).

The, inaugural event was held in Leh, Ladakh on 9th November 2025, in the presence of Shri Kavinder Gupta, Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.

The ceremony featured the release of the Enterprising Ladakh Report and a Catalogue of Enterprises, alongside an exhibition of over 80 local ventures established under the programme.

Udyamita Pakhwada aims to foster entrepreneurial spirit, drive innovation, and strengthen local ecosystems across 19 states, including Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha, and more.

The fortnight (9–21 November) features workshops, exhibitions, competitions, and mentorship sessions focused on local entrepreneurial opportunities and self-reliance.Speaking on the launch, Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, Said
