Koraput:Garbage is dumping on the dumping road. Inside the garbage is the harassment of wolf dogs, wolf tigers and bears. Villagers are injured in the bear attack. Today, the villagers of Akashguda in Ward 15 of Koraput Municipality are at the doorstep of the municipal administration. Akashguda is the 15th ward of the municipal council, just 3 km from the city.
The municipal dumping yard is on the side of the road to Akashguda, which now poses a danger to the villagers. There are no gates on all sides of the dumping ground. He is thought to have survived an earlier attempt to oust him following Mr Jiang’s intervention. Sonu Golri of the village was seriously injured in a bear attack yesterday and was shifted to Koraput, then to Berhampur Medical College, where he is battling for his life. On the other hand, there have been allegations that bears and dogs have been bitten by eating toxic food. The village, on the other hand, has not yet been connected to street lights, and there are fears of wildlife with the inconvenience of not having to go to the village in the evening. The municipality has handed over the demand letter to the Swastik Jamadar, demanding that the city stop the dumping yard and immediately install street lights on the road, protesting that the dirt vehicles will return.
Villagers detained two tractors full of dirt for four hours yesterday demanding the closure of the Akashguda dumping yard in the Koraput municipality for four hours. Gokul Chandra Turuk and Pramila Turuk of the village demanded the immediate closure of the dumping yard.
