Koraput:Pregnant women who drive 2 km away due to lack of roads have given birth. In one village, two pregnant women gave birth on the street in three months. Sabitri Khara, a 25-year-old husband of Sahil Dev Khara, 25, of Galganda village in Darliput sub-center of Nandapur block of Padua panchayat in Koraput district’s Padua panchayat, gave birth to a son on the Ghati road at 9 am today. According to sources, the pregnant woman was rushed to the Darliput railway station this morning due to lack of roads and networks. From there patients waited for the 108 ambulance vehicle at 7:45 am. But 10 minutes before the arrival of 108 Ambulance (8.45 am), Sabitri gave birth to a baby boy on the road. As the family was happy to see the son, the administration, as there was no way out, rushed to the 108 vehicles and the health department due to the late arrival. With the help of Asha workers, they were taken to a health center, where both mothers and children were reported to be in good health.
