Drug Mafias ‘arrested by Kalahandi Police

Bhawanipatna:Kalahandi Police arrested drugs mafias at Bhawanipatna town and forwarded to court. The drugs is linked from Sambalpur as said by police.
Based on reliable input a police team of Sadar police station intercepted a Ertiga car with the accused persons Sazid Parvej (18) and driver of the car while they were coming towards Bhawanipatna.
During the course of investigation these two persons were apprehended for possession of 38.72g of adulterated drugs. It is reliably learnt that these persons are a part of drug network who are trying to sell noxious substance to youth of Bhawanipatna town. Two mobile phones were seized from them.
For verifying the nature of the drugs it is being sent for chemical analysis to Forensic lab. Police team will verify all the persons who consumed drugs from these persons said Kalahandi SP Dr. Shravan Vivek.M.
In continuation of crackdown against drugs , Bhawanipatna Town police arrested Sushanta Sahu ( 28 ), Abdul Razak (21 ), Abhiram Rout (33), Santosh Mahapatra ( 30), Narayana Bag ( 22) from Town for possession of 825 mg Brown sugar. These persons formed a gang in selling drugs to Bhawanipatna Town youth.
