DRM RAYAGADA LAUNCHES SWACHHATA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN

Rayagada, September 17: With a momentum of nationwide enthusiasm, the 9th edition of Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 under the Swachh Bharat Mission commenced last Wednesday. Spanning from 17th September to 2nd October—culminating on Gandhi Jayanthi—this 15-day campaign to mobilize millions across the country in a unified push for impactful cleanliness drives.

Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Rayagada, Amitabh Singhal, a Swachhata Hi Seva drive was conducted at the Rayagada Railway station by branch officers of various departments, railway officers and staff and a large gathering of colony residents. DRM administered the Swachhata Pledge to all participants, reaffirming collective commitment to cleanliness.

Addressing the gathering, Singhal said that the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ campaign will organize various programmes from 17th September to 2nd October 2025. Initiatives include door-to-door awareness campaigns, large-scale cleanliness drives, competitions aligned with the Swachh Bharat Missio, and Swachh Food Initiatives.
