Driver with ATM Cash Flees in Berhampur City (!)

Berhampur: The cash in the form of Rs 16 lakhs were part of the amount of the logistics collected from ICICI Bank Bank in the city around 10 AM in the Wednesday.
The incident occurred between 11.30 to 12 noon when the driver drove away with the cash and vanished after re-feeding the cash at Raja Street and Aska Road ATM machine and two employees Manager and Gunman went inside ATM counter.
After many hours a complaint by the logistics agency lodged at Bada Bazar police station and Police came into action mood,
Soon getting the information Pinak Mishra SP Berhampur instructed to all Police stations through VHF to be well alerted and locate the ATM vehicle. The city was covered with all entry points by the Cop.
Interacting with scribe “We have formed teams to trace the driver who appears to have planned well in advance the act and the route he took to disappear. We have some leads from the footage of CCTV cameras in the vicinity”, However we still awaiting to get the photo shots of the vehicle, he said.
However the complainant of the concern logistics agency locked the GPS systems as a result the ATM vehicle could not proceed ahead and ascertain at Pitatali Soorla Junction which is just bordering to Andhra Pradesh state by the Police team.
Further sources said, the driver was rescued in an unconscious state has been admitted at MKCG-MCH.The Police already started an investigation into the matter.
According to available source, the driver along with three others of the cash loading firm drove off load Rs.26 lakhs cash and dispensing. But the driver said “I do not know any of the matter (??)” two miscreants came and loot the cash Rs 24 lakhs with gun point (?).driver said.
Actually the vehicle after withdrawal the cash from ICICI went to AXIX bank for depositing and from AXIX bank they about to visit Mohona area of Gajapati district. The entire episode is confusing and the truth will come to the lime light one the police probe established,said SP,Mishra.
