Dr.P N Mohanty, Famous Gynaecologist Passed Away due to Corona

ROURKELA: One Of the finest Gynaecologist of the state Dr. P N Mohanty passed away on Sunday at 9.20am due to corona in Aditya-Ashwini Hospital in Bhubaneswar. She was admitted to this hospital after getting infected to corona and was under treatment since then. She had developed infection in lungs and became critical and was then remained with ventilator support for last four days. But she could not fight back this dreaded disease and breather her last. She was one of the finest Gynaecologist in the state and a popular name in Rourkela while she was serving in Ispat General Hospital(IGH)run by RSP,SAIL, Rourkela.

After her retirement she had left for Bhubaneswar and was practicing there and serving the people of Bhubaneswar. Whosoever knows her can reminiscences her skill in her profession and as a good human being with an attitude to help others. She was also known for her straightforward talking without and guilt whenever it comes to truth and professionalism. Her Son, Manoj Das was with her till the last and had done the last ritual as per the guidelines of BMC in Satyanagar, Bhubaneswar. Getting the news of her demise saddened the medical fraternity in Rourkela and flood of condolence messages were flown from all walk of life. Anyways, loosing such a passionate doctor is a huge loss to the medical fraternity of the state.
