DISTRICT LEVEL PULSE POLIO VACCINATION-2021 LAUNCHED AT GAJAPATI

Paralakhemundi: At DHH, Paralakhemundi Pulse Polio vaccination -2021 launched. The programme Inaugurated by CDMO Dr.Prafip Kumar Patra senior state level nodal officer Buswajit Medak graced as Chief Guest.
On the occasion guest imparted to bring zero on polio infections. At Gajapati district 71,270 children given polio drops.574 centres identified with 20 mobile team engaged at Paralakhemundi town & surroundings movable areas of district. This will continue for 2 days to cover all children.
Besides that prevention by using masks, use of soaps for regular hand washing & use of sanitizers prioritized.
Among others DPM Soumyarani Gauda,DMO Dr. Pramod Kumar Panda,Dr.R.N.Das were present. Deputy Manager on child health and nutrition Susant Prasad Nayak, Netrananda Satapathy, Suresh Kumar Jena facilitated the program.
