Paralakhemundi:At RSETI Conference Hall sensitization on legal aspects organized. Presided by Chairperson of State Women Commission Dr. Minati Behera among others ZP President GTRao, Paralakhemundi Municipal Council Chairperson Nirmala Sethy,Collector Gajapati Lingraj Panda, ADM Sangramsekhar Panda, Chief Development Officer cum Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Romanchal Khamari, DSP Kailash Chandra Buruda, DSWO Minati Dei graced on dias. On women empowerment various strategy discussed. Compensations, free legal aid through lok adalat details apprised. Chairperson of SWC said that government focussing on priority for women to join them on mainstream. Family violence, dowry attrocities, sexual harassment, sufferings as employees, girl baby foetus destruction, child or early marriage, cyber crime, property rights deprivation for women all such issues discussed. Moreso their education, financial empowerment, health care too to be strengthened. On this program 10 members honored eg, Sakuntala Bhuyan AWW, Haribandhu Karjee, Nageswar Choudhry of Women & Child Protection section, KSunita, Susama Gouda of Mission Shakti SHG, Rina Devi Constable, Staff Nurse Sandhyarani Dei, ASHA Bijaylaxmi Jena, advocate Kamalini Patnaik & WCD Department honored. Among others legal practitioners, SHG members, ASHA, Sarpanchs of various panchayats attended.
