Distributed dry ration kits to temple priests with the support of Shree Raghunath Temple Texas, USA

Berhampur:According to the lockdown instructions and guidelines of Govt. all the temples were closed since 5th May 2021 following the Covid-19 pandemic 2nd wave.
Priests of the temples were in financial crises and their livelihood was affected badly due to long closure of the temples.
Keeping in this mind the People’s Rural Education Movement (PREM) in collaboration with Shree Raghunath Temple, Texas, USA arranged and distributed dry ration kits for the temple preists, in Berhampur city. The events were graced by Sir Bikram Kumar Panda, local MLA. The program was coordinated by Dr. Jacob Thundyil, President PREM and organized by Sri Ratan Mishra, PRO PREM with the support of local youth and dignitaries including Sri Samarsen Patra, Sri. Satya Kumar Panigrahi, Sri Sunya Das, Sri Dheeraj Das, Sri Susant and Sri Kalia Panda.
Raghunath Temple USA came forward to extend support to PREM for distributing the dry ration kits and sanitizing kits including oxymeters, masks, sanitizers to the poor communities and front line health workers for mitigating COVID-19 pandemic disaster. In this regard, PREM distributed 900 packets in different place of Ganjam, Gajapati and Koraput districts of Odisha. Mr. Ratan Kumar Mishra facilitated the whole process.
