Paralakhemundi:State government planned for sustainable development 2030 with 17 visions to be made sustainable as per UNO’s SDG(sustainable development goal). So on district level plan a training conducted by Planning & Coordination department at ZP Conference Hall. ADM Sangramsekhar Panda presided over the meeting.

On 2017 September 25th by UNO 17 goals framed. Accordingly by 2030 agenda complete eradication of poverty,to ensure food security with hunger free state, supply of nutrition food, ensure quality education & health services, rapid action on women empowerment, reduce gender inequality, ensure pure drinking water for all, promotion for industrialization,local resources mobilization, climate change & it’s impact are prioritized.

On these 2-day training right information building & need to grassroots empowerment of those 17 goals. By 2030 priority given on poverty eradication besides health, education, nutrition also to taken as pivot task which makes inevitable to fulfill 17 goals. Socio-economic development should be inclusive scenarios for sustainable development added ADM Panda.Through video conference Addl. Chief Secretary Pradip Kumar Jena viewed on long term goal. Planning & Coordination enabling expert Saroj Kumar Das, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive  of Zilla Parishad Romanchal Khamari, Deputy Director Planning & Coordination, Statistical Officer Kulamani Rout shared on objectives of training. Among others Abha Mishra UNDP Chief, Pradyumna Kumar Mahakuda, Financial Adviser Pradip Kumar Panda also shared. All district level officers, BDOs, sarpanchs were present. Tomorrow team will visit Rampa of Gosani block & Karadasing panchayat of Rayagada block. Planning & Coordination department staff coordinated the program.
