DIG, Jail Dashed at R.Udayagiri Sub-Jail after Inmates Fled News

Paralakhemundi: Raghunath Majhi,DIG of Jail reached at RUdayagiri,soon after widespread inmates fled news.
He had a discussion with Superintendent & Jail staff of RUdayagiri Sub Jail regarding discrepancies on security which torpedoed 2 inmates eg,Sarat Kumar Dey of Brahmagiri and Karunakar Gamango of Adava to flee away through jail boundary on broad day light. Meanwhile Sarat could be caught hold with joint action of Police & Jail staff. But Karunakar is still missing.
According to Majhi in border districts of Ganjam,Kandhamal and host, now squad are under vigil to search Karunakar.
Case no 34/21 registered at RUdayagiri Police Station, says SI,Mukesh Kumar Lakra.
Since 2020 both the inmates are in ganja transported case and arrested. They were brought from Paralakhemundi Sub Jail due to norms on Covid-19,to follow social distancing. Predictions of linkage jail staff with outsiders, which helped them to flee away still whirling around, says,Majhi.
Warden Debendra Mallick of RUdayagiri Sub Jail is being interrogated.
Detail enquiry reports will be produced & action will be taken accordingly, added Majhi.
