DGP, ABHAY PAYS GLOWING TRIBUTES TO COVID WARRIORS OF ODISHA POLICE

CUTTACK:Director General of Police Abhay on Wednesday paid tributes to six COVID Warriors of Odisha Police during silent prayer and oath taking.
Those who have laid down their lives while fighting the coronavirus are;Rabinarayan Behera, ASI, Bhanjanagar court, Ganjam, ASI Shibaram Das, Tarasingh PS, ASI Krusha Chandra Mondol, Constable Golak Naya, Aska police station and Home Guards Satya Ranjan Sethi and S Narasingha Das.
The Odisha State Police Headquarters here had taken elaborate measures to observe the silent prayer and subsequent oath taking for paying homage to COVID Warriors.
Over 400 personnel belonging to state police headquarters, crime branch and human rights cell had participated in the silent prayer and oath taking event. The piped band of Odisha police also participated in the event.
The event was attended by additional DG Binaytosh Mishra, Soumendra Priyadarshi, IG Rekha Lohani, Jatindra Koil, Amitendra nath Sinha, Pravin Kumar, AIG Vivekananda Sharma, and other senior officials. The programme was conducted by AIG Balakrusha Hota and other officials.
