DGP Abhay on Monday inaugurated the new Gosaninuagaon Police Station at Berhampur

Berhampur:  DGP Abhay on Monday inaugurated the new building of Gosaninuagaon police station at Gosaninuagaon of Berhampur city.

Addressing media persons, Abhay said that the offices of SP Berhampur, ASPs’, DSPs’ and other from the premises of the new building stating that Odisha government has been emphasising on Crime management.

Southern Range DIG Satyabrata Bhoi said that the Police Station was earlier set up in same location but from point of other infrastrucres is not sufficient. For proper implementation of fully fledged police station for better management and check fatal accidents on Haladiapadara by pass on National Highway. However, the Police Station was running from a small building. There was the need for a full-fledged police station as the entire policing activity can planned.

Berhampur Superintendent of Police Pinak Mishra, Speaking during the occasion said that the Police station will go a long way in bringing the Police closer to the denizens of the locality and will be instrumental in bringing down the crime rate.

Joining the Inauguration as Guest MLA Berhampur Bikram Panda appreciate the sincere steps and care taken by the Police department.

Among others, ASPs’Prabhat Routray PK Mishra,SDPO BC Pati and JK Mohapatra and all IIcs’under Berhampur police district attended the inauguration ceremony.
