Demand Against Diversion for Kalyan Mandap to MRBHSchool Hostel

Paralakhemundi- Presided by Monalisha Das Headmistress of MRBHSchool as guests Dr. Sankar Prasad Bakshi allumni of MRBHSchool, scholar Purnachandra Mahapatra, Secretary of Old Students Association of MRBHSchool Pradip Nayak an action taken meeting conducted against Paralakhemundi Municipality decision to make kalyan mandap at MRBHSchool hostel building. Till 1971 that building was used for class 6th & 7th students regular classes.Later temporarily operated as Women’s College.After construction of their regular building they shifted.Again DEO office operated soon after Gajapati district declared.Entirely that building was under MRBHSchool rights.
That building was under MRBHSchool where students resided as hostel.Later temporarily operated as District Education Office. Some manipulation done to change the rights to Paralakhemundi Municipality without notice of public.Such raised cacophony among alumnis of that school which regarded as zilla school once upon a time. From outside students used to study in that school.That school established scholars who are at various out reach & abroad too. Whimsically blundered done to disrespect the oldest school building by changing its domicile rights & even tender on force for construction of kalyan mandap.So alumnis trigerred to start revolt leaving no stones to keep dignity under MRBHSchool rights. An executive body formed, where Purnachandra Mahapatra as adviser. To avert such construction committee strongly condemned for construction of kalyan mandap & if such activity will be taken they will revolt as unanimously passed by all alumnis who were present in the meeting.
