Deceased’s Bereaved Family Met SP for Enquiry of Death

Paralakhemundi-A traumatic death turned into suicide.So neither deceased’s family nor villagers taken lightly such death though at Serango Police Station FIR lodged for thorough enquiry,but police yet to take seriously of the death.Such aggrieved death occurred at Namangada village under Serango police station.According to information Narayan Paik of that village was missing since 1st September afternoon from village.But on 3rd September his hanged body found near Markada hill.In presence of villagers that hanged body rescued.While released his knee touched to a stone & severely head,too,injured with bleeding.Right side eye,too,damaged with an injury at right leg.His face tied with a towel. While hanged neither tongue turned outside nor tools or urinated found.On primary investigation by police such things detected, which turned suspicion among family members as dare blooded murder. On previous night of missing,Narayan told his brother that one Amulya Majhi of his village threatened him to kill. Because Amulya burnt a house of Naghariasahi village,which Narayan knew his crooked misdeed. So Amulya killed him & tried to escape by hanging which exposed by Narayan’s family.Despite repeated appeal Serango Police turned heed their complain. Already one month passed but police yet to take action. So more than hundred villagers including ward member Mekham Lima, Tabita Paik, Snehalata Padhi & deceased’s brother Sibanand Paik met with SP Gajapati Jayaram Satpathy & requested him a thorough enquiry of death which SP assured the villagers for same.
