Dead body found under mysterious near an orchard in Ganjam (!).

Ganjam,(Buguda),Oct,27/23:In an incident last Friday one Susanta Patra (48) of Karchuli within Buguda police limits was found dead under mysterious circumstances near an orchard in the village on the day. Locals first spotted the body and informed police, alleging it to be a case of murder (!).
A senior police officer said soon getting the report,our Buguda police team along with scientific team rush to the spot and found one poisonous substance i.e ”CELPHOS” (a pesticide) from the spot where the team spotted the dead body.
The deceased body sent for autopsy.
Preliminary investigation revealed that there were no visible injury marks on the deceased’s body.
However, the scientific team found a pesticide bottle/pouch from the spot. It is likely that Susanta died due to consumption of pesticide.
Prima face, investigation reveals that there is no critical visible injury on the body of the deceased. Hence, there is no clear assault to the deceased.
The clear cause behind his death can be ascertained after the postmortem report arrives.
The Buguda police registered a case u/s 302/379/34 IPC and further investigation is underway, Police said.
