Doordarshan channels topping TRP ratings require all DD channels to be first amongst all TV channels by all dish-TV and cable-TV operators

DELHI: Doordarshan by telecasting its old popular TV channels has emerged victorious bypassing all private TV channels in TRP rating. It is now clear that TV serials telecast by Doordarshan at a time when Doordarshan had a monopoly with no private channel existing, quality of TV serials telecast by DD channels was far-far superior In present days of corona lock-out, people in all age-groups are glued to those DD channels which were till now not much known like DD Bharti.

Already it is compulsory for all dish-TV and cable-TV operators to compulsorily telecast all the 25 DD channels apart from Rajya Sabha TV and Lok Sabha TV. Now to provide DD channels, Rajya Sabha Tv and Lok Sabha TV, rule should be give starting channel-numbers on all dish-TV and cable-TV networks to 25 DD channels, Rajya Sabha TV and Lok Sabha TV. Such a system will make DD channels easily approachable for viewers to give them quality and educative programmes.

Doordarshan should also re-telecast very popular, educative and interesting TV serial Rajni, which will induce consumer-awareness amongst TV viewers apart from motivating private TV channels to  introduce such TV serials of mass-utility.
