Day One of new Lockdown in Rourkela;Mask became Ghost & Social Distancing became Laugh

ROUREKLA: Today is the first day of lockdownin Rourkela and the situation is very interesting. People are moving around with all joy as if they got freedom after a long time and took the fresh air with all gossiping and making merry. In the market the situation seen as it was before the corona period, rush is everywhere and covidguidelines were challenged everywhere. Many people in the market have not masked and few who had mask on their face the position was under chin where mask was also feeling sorry for the affairs. Vendors were sitting next to oneanotherwithout any social distancing. No social distancing Infront of the grocery and other shops who are now trying their lucks. Administration has gone backfoot after a long pause of lockdown. Since it was the first day,allwere cool and taking charm of life. Not known whether this practice will continue or will take a u-turn after the intervention of administration. Anyways, whatever is happening today is an alarm for future course of result. I am sure if this practice will continue again there will be lockdown and situation will worsen incoming time. Again, we are going to face third phase of this dreaded corona infection. God will only save us and many families will lose everything or something for the cause of negligence. The ugliest victim would be the ones who have followed everything but suffered the loss because of others negligence and of their no fault. Hence, the need of the hour is that administration should take proper actionin the matter and should show strictness in following guidelines which is framed after a thorough thought.
