CROWD PULLED BALIYATRA BANISHED AT ADAVA OF GAJAPATI

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Where world famous Car Festival restricted all crowd pulling;there yet a local festival was going to be organized,despite norms on Covid-19,at Patra sahi of Adava of Gajapati the organizers stepped up to perform as usual their traditional Baliyatra which they organize every year.But they neither have taken permission from local administration nor kept norms of Covid-19 rather more crowd pulling incidentally invited against law & order, where Tehsildar Mohana, Kalyani Sanghamitra Devi with IIC Adava, Tapan Kumar Pati rushed at spot.At that time priest usually busy to start traditional rituals for Goddess where more than100 persons gathered at spot. Tehsildar immediately stopped such activities & penalized rupees one lakh from organizers within 24 hours.They also cautioned to follow norms like social distancing & use of masks by Tehsildar Mohana with minimum 10 to 20 persons wherever needed with prior permission.
