Cow Killed by Royal Bengal Tiger Near Paralakhemundi Town in Gajapati; Locals Panic

Paralakhemundi: The pugmark of a Royal Bengal Tiger (RBT) was spotted around two kilometers away from Paralakhemundi town in Gajapati district of Odisha. after one month of core silence the wild tiger entered darely at Rayagada block of Gajapati district.

This time at Kumulsing panchayat of Amlabar village trounced it’s presence.On late night of Monday from cattle shed pulled a cow. At nearest jungle that tiger killed the cow. Caracas found at forest & villagers now afraid of such wild’s presence.

Forest personnel have visited and advised the residents of fringe villages bordering Andhra asking them not to come out of their houses after the fall of night. They also appealed to the residents not to go anywhere alone during the day hours, Paralakhemundi DFO S.Anand informed.

Forest staff wildered to watch tiger’s movement.Range Officer N.D.Sharma of Devagiri range reached at spot.Near the dead cow body secret camera fixed tomorrow onwards entire episode will be covered, he added.

Worth mentioning, a Royal Bengal Tiger had previously killed a cow of one resident named Nrusingha Nayak from Santoshpur village of Gandahati panchayat in Gajapati district, on October 20. The tiger left the carcass in half-eaten condition near a bush around a furlong away from the village.
