COVID19 TESTS CONDUCTED FOR JOURNALIST IN ROURKELA

ROURKELA: Covid tests are a great threat for the mankind and so the effect is on our soil in Rourkela. Covid cases are increasing every passing day in Sundergarh which is alarming now.
As per the reports of 13th August test conducted by 12th stands at 145. The major concern is the infections spread is all lover the district not pertaining to a single place. With this corona positive cases in Sundergarh have increased to 2717 till the time of reporting the news.
The local administration has called for corona test for free for Journalists of Rourkela. Many Journalists have participated this mega testing meant for them and fortunately the DIPRO, Mr.Ashwini Bhoi this afternoon has confirmed that none of our journalists have tested positive. It is great news because in many cities of the country many journalists have tested positive and have lost their lives. In Odisha also Journalist has lost his life and many other have tested corona positive.
The need of the hour is to have testing with strictest vigilance on offenders who doesn’t follow any guidelines set by the administration.
Many parents in Rourkela is thinking to not send their small children to school if it opens in a month or two. They are right in their apprehension and doubts that whether school authorities will follow all guidelines which will be set on time to sanitize and other precautionary measures which is very tough to follow in schools. Time will say what will be the impact if decision comes like this to open schools in a month time.
