COVID19 MOBILE SWAB TESTING VAN INAUGURATED BY COLLECTOR GANJAM IN BERHAMPUR CITY

BERHAMPUR,10/07/20:Friday afternoon Ganjam District administration launched the Covid19 Swab testing mobile van at Berhampur Municipal Corporation in Ganjam.
Speaking to scribe,Vijaya Amruta Kulange,Collector,Ganjam said, the mobile swap collection service has been launched exclusively for Berhampur Mahanagar Nigam (BeMC) to collect swab from the people in their respective areas.
Notably, the testing van is well equipped with testing facility, provision of disinfectant, drinking water, disposal of clinical waste, and a drawer for storing swab samples.
The advanced mobile van will facilitate to collect samples at the doorstep of the people, so that they don’t need not to visit the medical centre to give samples for testing. It will help people of Municipal areas (all 40 wards) to avoid infection during swab collection. However people bound to maintain social distancing in the van, only two persons will be accommodated inside the van at a time he added.
On this occasion among others,BeMC Commissioner,Chakravartysingh Rathore,Sub-Collector,Berhampur,CDMO,Umashankar Mishra,and NRHM Co-Ordinator Shyamsundar Tripathy were present.
