“COVID WEEK” GANJAM STEPS UP EFFORTS TO WIN COVID-19

BERHAMPUR:The Ganjam district administration, which has been recognized as a trendsetter in COVID-19 management, has further stepped up its strategies to combat the deadly virus.
As part of the efforts, the district administration will observe COVID Week from September 24 to October 1. Under the initiative, mass awareness will be created in all urban and rural areas of the district, informed district Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange at a press meet here Wednesday at Berhampur town hall.
Health staff will visit door-to-door to trace people with COVID-19 symptoms. They will also check oxygen level of the residents during the survey. Besides, awareness rally with adherence to social distancing and competition on paining, debate and slogan with Coronavirus theme will be organized during the period.
