COVID CHAIN -COLLECTOR GANJAM DECLARE 7- NAC COMPLETE SHUTDON FOR SIX DAYS

GANJAM:The district administration have force to declare complete shutdown seven Notified Area Councils (NACs) in Ganjam district on Wednesday for six days to contain COVID-19.
Sub collector, Chatrapur, Priya Ranjan Prusty said the decision was taken to break the chain of dreaded coronavirus. Such a measure will contain further spread of the virus. The shutdown will effect from July 16 to 21. The NACs to remain complete shutdown are Chatrapur, Rambha, Khallikote, Polsara, Kodala, Kabisurya Nagar and Purushottampur.
The administration had advised people to purchase essential commodities till 4 pm on Wednesday. The announcements were made by the NACs concerned through public announcement system. They were asked to stay indoors and cooperate with the district administration. These seven NACs were earlier under shutdown from July 9 to 13 when entire Ganjam district was under the restrictions for five days.
