Berhampur: As the State government directed to Collectors and SPs to strictly enforce Covid appropriate behaviour to guard against a possible spike in cases, Friday night the Berhampur Police made a joint patrolling round across the city for sensitising the public against spread of the second Lehar of Covid-19. They leave a message for public notice the night Curfew should be maintain strictly also warned against large gatherings at public places, respect the guidelines issued by Odisha government and announced the Covid restrictions and night Curfew through Mike.All ASPs’,SDPOs’IICs’ have participated.
Berhampur SP, Pinak Mishra said, “Enforcement activities will be enhanced at public places to ensure that citizens are wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.PCR vans and police station vehicles will intensify patrolling in the city to check such violations” everyday.
During night Curfew timing police Officers will caution the public that the Corona threat again alarming in our City they must continue to follow the Covid-19 guidelines and take adequate preventive measures.
The markets are crowded at all times and people are blatantly flouting every measure. Marriage and other public functions have restricted according to Advisory every safety norm to be maintain in proper,Citizens are not wearing masks properly as they move outdoors. On seeing the police, they are adjusting their face covers in fear of action. They are advised to comply or be ready to be penalised, Mishra Said.
